The Baltimore Museum of Art is located on Art Museum Drive at North Charles and 31st Street about 3 miles north of the inner harbor in Baltimore, Maryland. More than 90,000 art works and objects are housed in the museum including paintings, furniture, decorative arts, Chinese ceramics, African art and more. Baltimore and Ohio Railroad Museum
The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Museum is located at 901 West Pratt Street in Baltimore, Maryland and contains an extensive collection or railroad locomotives dating back as far as 1829. The 40 acre museum also contains railroad china and silver, outdoor train platforms, railroad time pieces and a covered roundhouse dome above a wooden turntable that has 22 stalls each containing railroad cars and locomotives. for more info call 410-752-2490.
Maryland Science Center, IMAX Theater and Davis Planetarium
The Maryland Science Center is located at 601 Light Street at the Inner Harbor and contains a wide variety of hands-on science exhibits including The Dinosaur Mysteries, Your Body: The Inside Story, SpaceLink and the Kids Room. The Walters Art Museum
The Walters Art Museum is located at 600 North Charles Street at the junction of Centre and Cathedral Streets. This wonderful Baltimore city owned museum contains more than 34,000 works of art dating back over 55 centuries. Evergreen Museum and Library
The Evergreen Museum and Library is located at 4545 North Charles Street in Baltimore, Maryland. The museum is a 48 room 1850's Italianate mansion that was the home of the railroad tycoon Garrett family from 1878-1942. The Garrett family owned the B&O Railroad from Monolopy board game fame and the family collected over 50,000 pieces of artworks including classic paintings and sculptures, rare books, tapestries, prints and more from around the world which are on display in the Evergreen Museum and Library.
